Liposuction

What is Liposuction? How Does It Work?
Liposuction (also known as Lipoplasty, Suction Lipectomy, and Liposculpture) is a surgical operation that uses several procedures to remove unwanted fat deposits beneath your skin.
Many believe that liposuction is surgery for losing weight. Liposuction is a body sculpting aesthetic technique. The amount of weight lost is proportional to the amount of fat lost. It is effective in places where unwanted fat deposits are concentrated.
Everyone has trouble spots on their bodies that don’t react to exercise or nutrition.
Liposuction is most commonly used in the following areas:

- Upper arms
- Stomach
- Back and love handles
- Hips
- Butts
- Thighs

What are the different types of liposuction?
Tumescent Liposuction
The most common type of liposuction is tumescent liposuction, commonly known as suction-assisted lipoplasty. This method involves removing fat from a specific area of the body using a sterile fat-melting solution. When the solution is injected into the fat deposits, the fat cells enlarge and separate from the soft tissues around them.
Power-Assisted Liposuction (PAL)
Power-Assisted Liposuction uses an electrically driven probe that swings back and forth in a cylindrical cannula, removing fat layers beneath the skin. PAL is mainly utilized to remove fat deposits from difficult-to-target, secondary, and scarred locations.
Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction (UAL)
Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction is a rapid procedure that uses the vibrating power of ultrasound waves on the targeted body region.
Fat cells are first liquified in this method before being securely removed with a suction pump.
Laser-Assisted Liposuction (LAL)
This innovative method involves lasering the fat tissue with Smartlipo laser energy and then tightening the skin (taking advantage of the thermal effect of the laser energy).
The liquefied fat is sucked out using a suction machine.
What Are The Benefits Of Liposuction?
Liposuction is usually done for cosmetic reasons—good surgery results in improved body shapes and proportions. To be happy, people must feel comfortable in their skin. A more petite figure enhances body image and self-esteem.
